We will add new vendors or services as they express an interest in joining us for another "best-in-class" Taste of Shiloh.

Is there anything for children? You Bet!  We have a play area set up for the children complete with a small playground for the very young and moon walks, a slide and an obstacle course for elementary and middle school children.

Will there be anything besides food there?  Yes!  We are expecting the The American Dream Corvette Club to treat your eyes and heart to a thrill with several of their magnificent machines and we have some vintage oldies but goodies coming.  Community service organizations and some business partners will also be present to share their offerings with you.

Is there a silent auction?  YES, several of the booster clubs and schools will run a silent auction.  Some of the offering are a condo near Disney World,  a Groom's cake and a piece of artwork.

The funds that you raise are being used for what community purpose? Part of the mission of the Shiloh Community Foundation is to fund scholarships for deserving students.  We award three scholarships during the year and help to sponsor the art festival. Recently, the Foundation decided to also help fund GED scholarships for adults in the Shiloh area who have delayed completing their high school diplomas.  In the state of Georgia, there are 1.3 million adults without a high school diploma.  In our community about 7% of the adults could use this GED assistance.  For 2010, the Foundation will provide scholarships to 10 adults to take their GED exams.

What is the art show that starts at 10:00 AM?  Each year the Shiloh cluster schools present the talents of our students in the area of print, music, instrument and voice.  From 10:00 AM until Noon, their talents will be on display at the high school.

Come for the Art, but Stay for the Taste.
